У «законі Ярового» знайшли ризики виведення іноземних операторів з Росії
The adoption of the "law of Yarovaya" will affect the work of foreign telecom operators in Russia and threatens them with withdrawal from the domestic market, experts of the Internet Research Institute.
Amendments to the law on antiterrorist security, or "Yarovoi law," if passed, will apply to Russian units of foreign telecom operators, which may lead them to withdraw from the Russian market. About this writes "Kommersant" with reference to the report of the Institute for Internet Research (IRI).
As the analysts of the company noted, the operators will have to store data about users in Russia and in case of receipt of a corresponding request to provide them to special services. So, problems can arise in the companies that are included in the register of "information dissemination organizers", that is, the Telegram instant messenger, the online dating service of Badoo, the developer of the Opera Software browser and another ten such Internet resources.
"Foreign companies that have a license in Russia for the provision of fixed-to-voice telecommunications services may fall under the requirements of the Yarovoy package and, as a consequence, bear the risks associated with violation of the norms of foreign law," the chief analyst of the Russian Association of Electronic communications Karen Ghazaryan.
